Spring break last week, oh don't worry I've kept busy. I finished up a freelance job, and have been working on two more. I did this animation (pictured below) earlier this week, just a real quick one; concieved, rigged, and animated in only a few hours while watching tv. Over at the forums at www.SimplyCG.net I got second place on the overlap animation competition with this animation. And last quarter I got First place, and Third place in the two Speed modeling challanges hosted by my school; They were a stapler and an ear, respectivly.

Huah! Kung-Foo ball robot.

5:48 am - Shot, flaming from a cannon . . .
. . . and still expected to hit the ground running. This last week, and week to come may be the most busy i've ever known. So packed full of time, my schedule is on the verge of becoming its own singularity, and swallowing everything around it, like a tiny chrono-black hole. Not that this last week hasn't been enjoyable, I think it may be one of the best on record, but boy howdy. . . So in my Team animation class, I wisely thought i would take the project on solo. yeah, in team animation. You can all slap me now, i know i've done it several times already. So here I sit at 6am Monday morning wasting my time until presentation at 8. Having pulled together the presentation in just enough time to pull out of the dive. Much like I jumped out of an airplane with some silk worms, and made my parachute on the way down. That would be about how i feel right now. However enough of this "jibber jabber" and onto the only reason you are probably even still reading this. The pictures below. Enjoy!

This is the still unnamed creature that sprouted from only a small bean.
I feel like the one on the left right now. Please enjoy.

Sorry for the Unthoughtfullness of this post, more-or-less it is me just padding either side of those pictures. Next week will be good, as it is the start of my Spring Break, and the event horizon of my schedule may let out the smallest glimpse of light.

Until next time,
-Double "A" to the "ron"

7:33 pm - cornucopia-ish. . . copious!

This week i've prepared something special. Instead of words for a post, i figured i'd show some Animations and pictures, plus adding in a fun story for my post.

These ones are animations.

And these ones are pictures.

And here is the story.

Two weeks ago, last friday, I went to go see an An andrew Bird show, downtown minneapolis. What a show it was, but that is not for this story. When the show got out late that night I parted with Amanda, when she got on her bus, and headed towards mine. Unfortunately, the next one wouldn't come for about 40 mins. I didn't feel like staying downtown for that long, and started to walk home. Now, Those of you who know me, know I am not a Physically imposing person, quite the opposite, one may go as far as to say i would be an " easy target ".  As i continued home through the heart of downtown,  i began to feel uneasy about my "company" in the shadows, and wished I had a quicker way home. Amusingly enough, just then i happened across a bicycle, leaning up against a light pole. About 20 years old, with chipped brown paint, one handlebar, one pedal, one working speed, half of a brake, and no lock. So i borrowed it for a bit. Soon my apprehension evaporated, and the cold wind disappeared as i wove through the streets downtown Minneapolis at 12:30 in the morning. I have never felt as young. When i got home i parked the bicycle, and thought some may say i half of my bike is missing, but i think half of it is just right. I continued to ride to and from school over the last two weeks on my bicycle. Leaving it just as i found it. And now it has gone on to someone else who needs it.  what an awesome bicycle.

Please let me know if you enjoyed this weeks format. Thanks for reading.

1:20 am - Dufus dilecti
Economists examine markets on Micro and Macro scales to better understand their relationships. I believe this can be the case for politics as well. WAIT!This isn't that kind of entry, not that kind at all. I don't intend to bug up this with that kind of thing. However this does look at politics, this is more of a social illustration than a political one. So disclaimer aside, here we go.

My apartment with 3 roommates, 4 total, is a small little democracy. As written by Alexander Tyler in 1787, All democracies are temporary in nature. ( so is everything, but let's set that aside for the time being ) " A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury" and the majority will continue to do so until collapse. Now collapse in a room consists of the breakup of the union of roommates, not the decline into dictatorship that usually follows a governmental collapse. But what can cause this? Well for starters a sub culture will become dependent on the support of the government. According to the research of Joseph Olson of Hamline University, 40 percent of america has already reached some form of government dependency. Back to my room. Between all of us in the room, The T.V., Video-game consoles, DVD Movies, Electronics, and Eating ware, is owned/done by 50 percent of the "population". However the majority of the consumption is not on that half. There are two of us who perform services in exchange for legal tender, and two that do not. There are two that have copious free time and two that do not. There are two that clean, and two that do not. I imagine you can figure out how those are divided too. Things have gotten so extreme, I've needed to disconnect My TV, and XBox, to get even the slightest Hygienic community effort. okay i'll spell it out. I had to ground my roommate No TV, until you clean my dishes that you've made dirty. again.

Tired of being the providers, we have shared frustration, and I've decided to leave. This makes me weary however of our own country. When people hide their money in offshore accounts they may just be trying to keep the less responsible from their rightfully earned property. I am glad i won't be around here after i leave.

I wonder what it will be like here after our providers feel the need to leave?
okay, so there was a bit of politics in that, but i hope it was more flavor-full and thought out than what you are used to reading in a Blog.

These are my weekly concerns,
Everyone who sees this; Don't forget to love.

7:24 pm - The End.

The End

I am starting this catalogue of my life when my second act has ended. As the Heroic Journey has been told back in the cuneiform tablets in the epic of Gilgamesh, the futuristic battles of Star Wars, this arc has stayed true for the epics told.

The First Acts are the introduction to the characters, and the presentation of the challenge; Life. I've grown from a small town in lower Minnesota learning the good "wholesome" values of the Midwest country folk, and was shown what life can be. I learned to walk and talk with those around me, Multiply and divide to solve the problems that surround me, drive and compute to engage the world yet to be found by me. The exploration of my world was nearly complete and I thought I knew all there was to know. I was on top of my game and the world was for my taking.

The Second Act is the fall from grace, and the discovery of ones self, and their limits. This was hard, and took 2 years of my life. It wasn't enjoyable and was entirely caused by my arrogance and self-pride. It was a necessary time, and I am stronger for it. In my life I have learned more that will save me in this time then my entire life before it. I have consulted experts and wise people to find my way, and now it is time for the final act of this stage of my life. Next is the Return and confrontation with my conflict; Life. So in respect to the Second Act, The End, Your time has passed, and I am on to complete my story.

Thanks for listening and stay tuned for the final act, lets all sit back see what happens, I am excited as you.
